The tracks are extremely long and Dorham is pushing past his bop roots towards a Latin feel on Una Mas that's surprising when you look at his earlier material. He's supported here by a fresh group of modernist geniuses including Herbie Hancock on piano, Joe Henderson on tenor, Butch Warren on bass and Tony Williams drums.
