Pro-Ject Counterweight ( 55gram / 75gram )

Counterweight for the Project Debut, Debut Carbon, Debut Carbon DC, Debut Carbon DC Esprit, including the USB and SB models.
Depending on your cartridge you can select the right counterweight, there are four different weights available.

The most seen Cartridges in these turntables are Ortofon OM-series and Ortofon 2M-series.

For the Ortofon OM-series (OM3E, OM5, OM10, OM20, OM30, OM40, OM78) you need:
Debut Carbon models:  50 gram counterweight (type 80)
Standard Debut models: 65 gram counterweight (type 00)

For the Ortofon 2M-series (2Mred, 2Msilver, 2Mblue, 2Mbronze, 2Mblack, 2M78, 2Mmono) you need:
Debut Carbon models:  55 gram counterweight (type 008.)
Standard Debut models: 75 gram counterweight (type 001)


On Debut Carbon models the cartridge-weight classes are:
50 gram counterweight (type 80): 4,5-6,0 gram
55 gram counterweight (type 08.): 6,5-8,0 gram
65 gram counterweight (type 00): 7,0-10,0 gram
75 gram counterweight (type 01): 11,0 gram and up
 
On Debut (NOT carbon) models the cartridge-weight classes are:
55 gram counterweight (type 08.): 1,5-3,0 gram
65 gram counterweight (type 00): 3,5-5,5 gram
75 gram counterweight (type 01): 6,0-9,0 gram
